Broiled Sea Scallops
Ingredients:
1 pound sea scallops
1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Salt
Pepper
Paprika
Directions:
Rinse scallops. Drain; dry on paper towels. Arrange scallops on broiler rack. Combine butter and lemon juice; brush half of mixture over scallops. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and paprika.
Broil 5 inches from heat, 3 minutes. Turn scallops; brush with remaining lemon-butter mixture. Broil 2 to 3 minutes longer, or until scallops are tender. Serve garnished with parsley sprigs, if desired.
